Other Ways to Check for Accuracy of Information
Search website or topic with the word "scam" or the word "reliable" or "credibility" in the search bar. Example: www.drive-safely.net credibility
Always go to the "About Us" section of the website. Who has created this website? Who is the author of the article/website? Google the author.
What other links/advertisements do you see on the page? Are they clickbait? Are they sensational?
Check the domain of the website...is it .org, .com, .edu, .gov
Don't always believe everything you read!
Digital Maine Library
The Digital Maine Library provides every resident of Maine with access to online resources that include a collection of full text articles and abstracts from magazines, newspapers, journals and reference. Although many of the databases on our Library Research Database page are also part of the Digital Maine Library, the Digital Maine Library gives you access to additional databases that may fall outside regular K-12 school research.
