Information & Media Services Department / Digital Learning Center
Our philosophy is based on contributing to the intellectual development of our school community. We aim to disseminate knowledge in the fields of the humanities, science, and technology. This knowledge is integrated to a Catholic vision, with the purpose of strengthening the intellect and values of our school community. We promote the constructivist teaching strategy and a curriculum that integrates all the academic disciplines. We are directly linked to all areas of the academic program, which we strengthen and support by coordinating different activities with the teachers. These may include: orientation sessions, workshops, access to digital and print information resources, and library or bibliographic instruction, among others. Our objectives and activities are guided by the principles of AASL Standards for the 21 Century Learner of the American Association of School Librarians (AASL) and the 2018 National School Library Standards Crosswalk.
